Thanks to The Bug and The Pockets

Thanks to Brisbane Unplugged Gigs (The Bug) and The Pockets for a fantastic night of music at New Farm Bowls. It was such a pleasure playing in a listening venue with great sound (Mark Smith).

I loved the old-timey four-part harmonies and ukuleles of The Pockets. Such beautiful voices and gentle songs. Will definitely try to see them play again soon.

Thanks also to everyone who came down on a Tuesday night. You were a fab audience! See you around Brisbane again soon.

Those Bloody McKennas: “Wow!…no mistaking that Those Bloody McKennas are a feel-good band…make the audience feel a bit lighter on their feet and in their spirits. Those Bloody McKennas are one of those bands that you have to see at least once, if only to expand your idea of what is possible. The fact that you might have the time of your life is merely a bonus.” – JESSE SHROCK – LIVE REVIEW – BEAT Magazine

CHANEL LUCAS: Warm, pure vocals and gentle folk guitar are Chanel’s signature sound. Her music allows you to stop and take a breath, and enjoy the moments outside of the busy day-to-day. A writer and songwriter, she has travelled across the world with folk-pop act ‘women in docs.’ Recently, she has been learning to play the ukulele and writing songs for a solo project. www.chanellucas.com or www.facebook.com/chanellucasmusic
